A new second storey addition accommodates the primary bedroom zones, allowing the ground floor to be reconfigured into open plan living spaces. Significant internal alterations improve spatial flow, functionality and connection between rooms, creating a more cohesive and liveable layout.

The existing external proportions, materials and architectural detailing are carefully maintained, with new elements designed to complement the original bungalow. Roof forms and gable detailing are extended and reinterpreted to integrate the second storey, while a refined verandah language introduces a subtle contemporary layer that remains sympathetic to the heritage context.

This updated architectural language extends to additional structures across the site, including a new gatehouse and pool pavilion, as well as carefully detailed wrought iron fencing.
